Mike Ward of Clyde’s well service drilled down about 160 feet and placed a four inch PVC pipe. At 70 feet we have static water. Now gotta get a pump and solar panel for the electricity. The cost have Escambia River Rural Electric Coop run to the well site is several thousands of dollars so solar is the choice and should work.

In the beginning
I got this wild idea to start an olive grove. Patti and I drove over to Jackson County Florida where rumor was someone was growing olives and sure enough, Dan Mueller who says he traveled extensively in Italy and fell in love with olives has about 250 producing olive trees at Green Gate Olive Grove. I bought 6 trees and returned to Santa Rosa County with them. As of this writing they are still in the pots I bought them in.
I don’t see this as a huge money making business but something about learning a new skill and working with dirt and trees and olives appeals to me.
